Nova Consunto, M.S., CCC-SLP

Founder & Speech-Language Pathologist

Nova received her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Teachers College, Columbia University and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Davis. She is licensed by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board and is certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA).

Throughout her career, Nova has always focused on working with the pediatric population. She has extensive experience working with toddlers and school-aged children with various speech and language challenges, including autistic

young children. Nova's treatment philosophy emphasizes child-centered play, creative language activities, and parent coaching to help children improve their functional communication skills. She is passionate about building positive relationships, not only with her clients, but also their families.


To provide the best care, Nova dedicates herself to staying current with the most

up-to-date research in the field and expands her knowledge through continuing education. She has received training in various approaches to the treatment of Childhood Apraxia of Speech including Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC) and PROMPT®. Nova is also trained in the Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) framework and understands gestalt language processing.


Nova is fluent in English and Tagalog.
